Featuring several areas to drink in, such as the Courtyard, the Rooftop and the main bar, Roland’s has a space for any occasion. Be it drinks with friends, a larger group or something a little more romantic.
The Rooftop is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Leeds life and is most impressive in the summer with its lawn, long oak tables, festive lighting, and exposed bricks. There is also space for a bottle bar and a bbq, making it the perfect summer hideout.
The Courtyard, meanwhile, has a secret garden vibe and is fully sheltered, sitting just behind the main bar area. It has the same design as the rest of the venue with exposed brickwork and natural fixtures and fittings.
There is a wide range of food and drink on offer, including bar nibbles, wines and beers as well as fizz and the perfect G&T selection.
Notable cocktails have included Silent Night, made using Glenmorangie X, apricot liqueur, champagne reduction and lemon; Notsopolitan contains Bonomi Vodka, and Sweet Herbal Amaro with cranberry and ginger tonic; and the Bring Me Back To Life contains Slane, pear liqueur, honey and ginger syrup and fresh lemon.
Other interesting cocktails have included Branch Out, made with Evan Williams Bottled in Bond, Amaro and Fernando de Castilla & Nut Bitters; Poinsettia contains El Tequileno Tequila, Lustau Rojo, coffee infused with Chartreuse and chocolate bitters; and Commodore, made with rosemary-infused Boatyard Gin, Aged Old Tom Gin, cranberry, vermouth, bergamot liqueur and aromatic bitters.
