The bar itself has a grungy, honest entrance comprised of some painted concrete steps and metal railings, a bar with ‘highend cocktails’ in a ‘low rent basement’.

Once inside, it becomes an underground hideout equipped with some of the cocktail world’s very best drinks served in an exceptionally fun and almost carefree environment.

The menu includes drinks such as the Racketeer which is made with Scotch whisky, sweet vermouth, umeshu, amaro and Bobby Burns made with Chivas Regal, sweet vermouth, Dom Benedictine liqueur, angostura, Montenegro & the slightest touch of raspberry.

The bar sells various bottled cocktails for guests to order online or take home with them and include the Peach Gold Rush, made using whiskey, peach, lemon and honey, East 8 Fizz, made with vodka, Aperol, passionfruit, lime, pineapple and soda; and the Ever After Martini, made with gin or vodka, dry vermouth and white tea.

Happiness Forgets also recently opened a second venue serving cocktails and food entitled Ever After.

Also based in Hoxton, Ever After has a strong focus on food, but brings the cocktail expertise of its sister site in buckets.
