Side Hustle is a Latin American casual bar and restaurant that offers dining and drinks in a lively setting.
Located in the trendy NoMad hotel in London it is one of four venues situated within the building which was opened in the former Bow Street Police Station.
The drinks menu is influenced by the flavours of Latin America with an extensive collection of Agave-based spirits available. The cocktail program, under the direction of bar director Liana Oster, showcases the flavours and traditions of Latin America along with classic and contemporary British, European and American offerings.
Drinks on the current menu include Toreador made with Don Fulano Fuerte Tequila, Tapatío Reposado Tequila, apricot, genepi, lime and agave or Sergeant Pepper made with Abelha Cachaça, Altos Blanco Tequila, green pepper, coriander, jalapeño, pineapple and lemon.
The bar interior features a beautiful marble-topped bar and comfortable booths. The food menu showcases a passion for Southern California’s fresh cuisine and draws the most on Mexico for inspiration, with classics including tacos and tostadas.
NoMad London opened on the site of the former Bow Street Magistrates Court and Police Station in 2021. The hotel has some history. It has reportedly housed many defendants in its time from Oscar Wilde, the Kray twins, suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst, to Dame Vivienne Westwood.
