Atelier Coupette, sister venue of the award-winning Coupette in Bethnal Green, is an experimental cocktail bar with a difference.
The new concept venue, which opened in October 2023, is nestled in the vibrant heart of London's Soho district.
It allows for experimentation serving "smaller-sized" drinks which allow guests to try more different cocktails while eating its French-inspired 'Nouvelle Cuisine' menu.
The concept is based on the successful ‘Sunday Development Sessions’ which were held at its sister venue in Bethnal Green. These sessions were conceived as a space for “exploration, experimentation and growth” which proved a popular attraction.
Atelier Coupette’s range of inventive cocktails have both draught and frozen options, with drinks including the showstopping Nectarine Old Fashioned, with Angel's Envy Bourbon, Craigellachie, Poached Nectarine Jus and Walnut. The Cherry Ice Cream Float offers a wow cocktail made using Red Breast and Talisker Whiskeys, vanilla miso, cherry soda, and cultured mascarpone ice cream.
The original Coupette was launched in 2017, headed up by Chris Moore, former head bartender of the Beaufort Bar at The Savoy, with Subjahit Mitra as its director. The bar team of this new venue is led by group manager Andrei Marcu, head bartender Georgia Balson and senior bartender Klara Kopcikova.
